Main Duties
* Oversee the complete process for commercial home delivery of medicines – purchasing, receipt, charging and invoicing – ensuring accuracy and compliance with Trust policies.
* Supervise daily operations within the pharmacy office and provide leadership support in the absence of the Pharmacy Homecare Manager.
* Coordinate workload allocation and contribute to the development of future homecare services.

Person Specification
Essential Knowledge
* Full range of office procedures gained by practical experience and in‑house training.
* Awareness of Health and Safety importance in the workplace.
* Google Computer Diploma (ECDL) or equivalent.
* GCSE grade 4 or above in English and Mathematics or equivalent.
Desirable Knowledge
* Pharmaceutical terminology.
* NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration or equivalent.
* Experience in hospital or retail purchasing environment.
Essential Skills
* Excellent organisational, oral and written communication, customer care, numeracy and keyboarding skills.
* Computer literate, able to follow written procedures and act on own initiative.
* Ability to use standard office equipment (telephone/fax).
Desirable Skills
* Experience collating and presenting information in Excel report format.
* Experience with the JAC pharmacy system.
Essential Experience
* Previous experience in a customer‑care environment.
* Significant experience working in a hospital purchasing environment.
* Experience with a live stock control computer system.
Desirable Experience
* Experience with EDI.
Qualifications
* GCSE grade 4 or above in English and Mathematics or equivalent.
* ECDL or equivalent.
* NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration or equivalent (desirable).
