Job Title: Solicitor (General / Planning) Location: North Warwickshire (Hybrid Working) Contract: 5 Months (with potential to extend) Hours: Full Time Rate: £50–£55 per hour (Umbrella, DOE) PAYE (Inc.Hol) - £44.50 - £48.89 per hour Key Responsibilities as a Solicitor: Provide legal advice across a broad spectrum of local government matters, including planning, procurement, housing, data protection, and freedom of information Manage and conduct criminal litigation, including preparing cases and representing the Council in the Magistrates’ Court Handle civil litigation matters, including progressing cases in the County Court and High Court Offer legal guidance on licensing matters, including those under the Licensing Act 2003 About you as a Solicitor: Qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Legal Executive with experience in Governance Law or Planning Law.
