Care Assistant – Live‑In Awake Night (Hove)

Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable individual to join our care team as a Live‑In Awake Night Carer in Hove. The role involves supporting a female client living in her own home with vascular dementia. You will work with a second carer to ensure her needs are consistently met and that she receives safe, person‑centred care at all times.
Responsibilities
* Provide reassurance, emotional support, and companionship during awake night hours (approximately 8:00 pm‑8:00 am).
* Assist with personal care tasks including pad changes and other hygiene needs.
* Administer and order medication as required.
* Prepare food and drink for the client.
* Respond calmly and appropriately to distress and challenging behaviours associated with dementia.
* Collaborate with the second carer to maintain a safe and supportive environment.
Requirements
* Right to work in the UK.
* Availability for full‑time hours.
