The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to join Brown GearTech at a pivotal moment in our growth journey. As an Internal Sales Specialist, you will be a key member of our commercial team, providing essential support to our Sales Director, field-based sales team, and channel partners.
You will be the engine room of our sales operation, generating quotes, processing orders, supporting partners, and ensuring our customers receive the responsive, knowledgeable service that sets us apart from our competitors.
Key Responsibilities
Quote Generation & Sales Support
• Generate accurate quotes for standard product inquiries using our CPQ system
• Support OEM Business Development Managers with quote generation and order processing
• Handle technical product enquiries, escalating complex specifications to the Sales Design Engineer as required
• Convert quotes to orders and manage the order acknowledgement process
Partner & Customer Support
• Handle inbound telephone and email enquiries from channel partners and end customers
• Support Regional Channel Managers with partner enquiries and order support
• Provide first-line support for the partner portal
• Build strong relationships with key accounts and partners through responsive, knowledgeable service
Administration & Data Quality
• Maintain accurate customer and opportunity data in HubSpot CRM
• Ensure all sales documentation is accurate and complete
• Provide backup cover for colleagues during absence
Person Specification
Essential Requirements
• Minimum 2 years' experience in B2B sales support, inside sales, or customer service
• Experience in industrial drives, geared motors, or mechanical power transmission products
• Strong communication skills – confident on the telephone and professional in written correspondence
• Technical aptitude – ability to learn product specifications and applications
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
• Process-driven with ability to manage multiple priorities
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
