Furzeham Primary & Nursery School are seeking a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to provide support to pupils in year groups 5 or 6, individually or in groups, to enable them to access the curriculum, take part in learning and experience a sense of achievement.
Our HLTA will support individual pupils or small groups to access the curriculum and engage fully in their learning. Working alongside class teachers you will support in raising pupil attainment, promoting independence, self-esteem, and social inclusion
What we are looking for:
* HLTA qualification is desirable, or willingness to work towards it.
* Experience supporting pupils in a primary school setting.
* Passion for inclusive education and the ability to support all learners
* A collaborative team player with initiative and the ability to work independently
* Strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, parents, and external professionals
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
