I'm seeking a newly qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) to join a fantastic business based in Ipswich. This is an ideal first move from practice into industry, offering exposure to a wide range of businesses and the opportunity to work closely with managers across their operations.
The position is offering a salary paying up to £50,000!
Key Responsibilities
1. Work closely with farm managers to improve financial understanding and performance
2. Prepare annual management accounts, budgets, and cashflow forecasts for multiple businesses
3. Review VAT returns, monthly/quarterly reporting, and external accounts
4. Support the Senior Accountants, Finance Director, and wider management team
5. Liaise with auditors, clients, and accounts assistants to resolve queries
6. Provide financial insight and additional reporting for consultancy clients
7. Process monthly payroll for selected businesses
Candidate Profile
8. Recently qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA (first-time movers from practice encouraged)
9. Strong grounding in accounts preparation, reporting, and analysis
10. Commercially minded with excellent communication skills
11. Interest in the agricultural sector and willingness to work closely with operational teams
