Season To Taste in Cambridge is looking for a part-time Bartender to join their team for 2-3 shifts a week.
The Bartender entertains guests while producing high quality craft cocktails in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The bartender functions to create an inviting atmosphere for our guests by anticipating and attending to their needs in a positive and timely manner. They have an extensive knowledge of traditional cocktails, seasonal ingredients, and creative drinks which they use to make recommendations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Prepare and serve craft cocktails in a fast-paced environment
2. Organize bar in a functional manner to support efficient drink production
3. Provide excellent customer service while managing drink orders
4. Maintain knowledge of all menu items in order to make recommendations to guests
5. Connect with guests and learn names of regulars
6. Verify identification and age requirements
7. Record all orders accurately and enter into POS
8. Accept guest payment and process credit card transactions
9. Prepare nightly close-out reports and cleaning tasks
10. Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the bar
11. Report all equipment problems and bar maintenance issues to the restaurant or bar manager
12. Assist the restocking and replenishment of bar inventory and supplies
13. Prepare any necessary bar items needed such as garnishes, juices, syrups, and infusions
14. Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant
QUALIFICATIONS:
15. 3-5 years of bartending experience
16. Have superior knowledge liquor brands and cocktail recipes
17. Possess excellent math skills and have the ability to handle money and operate a cash register
18. Passion for hospitality
19. Positive, energetic, and upbeat attitude
20. Able to collaborate and work well with others
