Responsibilities: In this role, I will require you to provide expert-level support for escalated technical issues across hardware, software, and networking. You will lead the troubleshooting and resolution of complex network incidents and performance issues. Your tasks will include configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting network infrastructure, such as switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points. You will design and implement secure LAN/WAN architectures and VPN solutions, and monitor network traffic and performance using diagnostic tools like Wireshark and SolarWinds. Additionally, you will manage IP addressing schemes, VLANs, and routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, EIGRP). Ensuring network security through access controls, firewall policies, and intrusion detection systems will be critical. Collaboration with infrastructure and security teams on network upgrades, migrations, and architecture planning will also be part of your responsibilities. You will support server environments including Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft Exchange, and maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, changes, and incident resolutions.
