This role will involve delivering a broad range of general assistant duties, including supporting patient movement, carrying out caretaker and body store tasks, completing routine checks such as alarm testing, and keeping log books and permits up to date. You will transport linen, stores, equipment, medical gases and patient notes, respond to emergencies, and operate systems such as fire alarms or CCTV when required. The role also includes maintaining clean, safe and tidy environments, undertaking cleaning duties, managing waste, assisting staff when needed, and identifying or completing minor repair tasks across the site. Can handle routine tasks and social interactions within a work environment. Ability to absorb policy and guidance necessary for the role.

Pay and Hours
* £13.04 per hour, £25,495.00 per annum, pro‑rata
* 15 hours per week
* This role operates on a rotational shift basis, Monday to Sunday, covering early (06:00‑14:00), late (14:00‑22:00) and night (22:00‑06:00) shifts. Flexibility is essential, as hours may vary to meet business needs and additional hours may be required. The position is offered on a three‑month temporary contract.
