Business Development Executive
Territory covers: Guildford & surrounding areas
Contract: Permanent, full time (40 hours per week, Monday to Friday)
Salary: Up to £28,840 per annum, plus a 10% performance related bonus, company car & fuel card

Responsibilities
As a Business Development Executive, your role will be to increase visibility of key Pladis brands. You will represent a wide range of Pladis brands in store with McVitie's biscuits and brands such as Jaffa Cakes and Flipz, playing a huge role in helping Pladis drive sales by working to increase distribution and actively selling into key contacts within your assigned territory. You will visit your designated cash and carry regularly to purchase stock and sell into your retailers within your call file.

Qualifications & Attributes
Ideal candidates have experience working within a field‑based sales role in convenience, independent or impulse environments. We welcome applicants who share Pladis' values, are passionate about our products and committed to sustainability.
You should be self‑motivated, thrive in a KPI‑driven environment, and be a people person who can confidently build relationships in store with key contacts. Strong communication skills, a background in a customer‑centered role, and high levels of resilience and energy are essential.
Additional Requirements
Full UK manual driving licence (no more than 6 points or prior bans, subject to a DVLA licence check). This field‑based role involves regular daily travel and requires comfort with driving long distances. Manual handling/heavy lifting is required, and overnight stays may be needed on occasion.
