Interim Commercial Manager / Quantity Surveyor
Large, Complex Infrastructure Projects
12 Month Contract £500 p/d – Outside IR35
We are seeking an experienced Interim Commercial Manager / Quantity Surveyor (QS) to support the delivery of large, complex infrastructure projects.
This is a senior interim role, ideal for a commercially astute professional with a proven track record in major highly regulated complex construction and infrastructure programmes.
The Role
You will provide commercial leadership and hands-on QS support across high-value infrastructure construction works, working closely with project, engineering, and procurement teams to ensure robust commercial control throughout the project lifecycle.
Key responsibilities will include:
1. Leading commercial management on complex infrastructure packages
2. Contract administration (NEC / bespoke forms preferred)
3. Cost forecasting, reporting, and cashflow management
4. Managing variations, compensation events, and change control
5. Subcontractor procurement, management, and final accounts
6. Risk and opportunity management
