Passionate about our exciting hardware lineup? Come be a part of Windows & Devices Commercial Sales Finance Team! We are looking for a motivated individual with enthusiasm to take on a high impact role as Surface Commercial finance lead for the EMEA region. We are hiring a Surface Commercial Finance Lead to lead this impactful work.

This is an individual contributor position, and not a management or leadership position, however will play a pivotal part in the leadership team who service commercial Surface devices in EMEA.

The Windows and Devices Finance Team comprises of teams covering Sales, Revenue, Investments, Compete and Gross Margins. We are advocates for the business and drives growth through: 

1. Delivering unit, revenue, GM and market share targets 
2. Developing deep understanding of Windows and Devices investment framework and (ROI) Return on Investment. 
3. Actionable analytics and insights on our competitors, retailers, partners and customers to drive share
4. Providing predictability and transparency through our financial outlooks.
5. Looking forward to scope risks and opportunities proactively 
6. Being trusted leaders to our business partners (engaged & insightful)

Qualifications

Required/minimum qualifications:

7. Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND multiple experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field OR Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND multiple years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field OR equivalent experience.
8. Experienced working in a matrixed organization; influencing multiple stakeholders.

Preferred Qualification

9. Hardware devices industry experience will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

10. Forecasting & Budgeting: Lead all regional sales forecast processes and land annual budgets. Drive alignment and collaboration with corporate objectives and in market business strategies. Complete and own monthly P&L close processes.
11. Financial Modelling: Build, maintain and scale robust financial models to accelerate business performance and scenario planning
12. Performance Analysis: Deliver insights to influence business outcomes, from analysis on internal financial metrics, partner performance and market competitiveness.
13. Business Partnership: Be a trusted advisor to business partners in enabling Microsoft to achieve key performance indicators like sales units, revenue, gross margin and market share. Collaborate, partner and influence business leaders and cross-functional teams with planning go-to-market strategies to compete effectively, drive market share, assess investment effectiveness and uphold compliance across the business. Oversee finance rhythm of the business with sales team, land product strategies in channel and deal execution and enable launch readiness.
14. Reporting & Communication: Prepare executive-level presentations and maintain dashboards that clearly articulate financial performance, risk and opportunities and insights to accelerate the business. Collaborate closely with corporate teams to signal insights on effectiveness of global strategies based on in market execution.
15. Leadership: Be an active contributor in the commercial surface finance community to drive analytic rigor, efficient processes and be an advocate for our desired culture.
