Role:
Our client is looking for an immediate, temporary, Project Accountant to assist them for 12 months. You be will be responsible for following duties:
* Entry of payroll data into monthly accounts and distribution of headcount and key information to client managers and controlling team.
* Reconciliation of Payroll related control accounts (including annual reconciliation of TB to gross to Nets). Related accounts include subs. Pensions. Season tickets, cycle to work, net pay and NI/Taxes.
* PAYE and employee taxes payments and reconciliation of related control accounts
* Pension payments reconciliation (inc. pension control rec'd payroll related control).
* Entry of pensions to monthly accounts.
* Expense payments inc. control rec and postings
* Monthly review and accrual posting of temp staff,holiday accrual, bonus accrual, PSA accrual
* Distribution as part of a team of monthly management accounts, including support for review process by budget holders.
* Balance sheet reconciliation adhoc accounts.
* Month End variance analysis for key central budgets.
* Overhead forecasting/budgeting, coordinate process through to return, including liaison with budget holders
* Provides budget information to overhead managers and budget holders periodically and provides support to their questions for management of their budgets.
* Cross charges and cost accrual allocations (planning, processing and reconciling). Cross charge query resolution.
* Overhead month end review.
* Month end reporting process.
* Closing of period/year in SAP R3 (monthly closing and year-end closing) to roll accounts over to new period/year.
* Manages journal checklist for month-end to, commentary key monthly figures
* Assists with posting of missing journals on behalf of others.
* Authorisation of supplier payments, payrolls, expenses, pension payments in the banking system. Additional ad-hoc payments required authorisation in the banking system in the absence of specific line managers.
* Experience in group consolidation reporting and adhoc finance projects
Profile:
The successful, temporary Project Accountant will be qualified (Eg ACA, ACCA or CIMA) and ideally have an audit background.
You must be immediate or 1 weeks notice to be considered for this role.

Salary & Benefits:
The temporary Project Accountant FTC will be paying circa £60,000 - £70,000 pro rata, dependant on experience.
