About the Role
Full time 37.5 hours per week on a fixed- term 2-year contract, with the option of continuous employment after the term ends. Salary is circa £60,000, DOE.
During this time you will take the lead in opening and establishing Greenlands Meadow, overseeing all aspects of service delivery, compliance, and performance.
You will:
* Lead on all commissioning activities, ensuring readiness for CQC registration and inspection.
* Drive quality and governance across every area of the home.
* Deliver outstanding leadership, supporting and inspiring your team.
* Ensure resident, family, and staff satisfaction through person-centred care and strong communication.
* Maintain compliance with all CQC and Health & Social Care Act regulations.
* Achieve key targets in occupancy, budget management, and staff retention.
About You
* Proven experience as a Registered Manager or Commissioning Manager in a nursing or residential care setting.
* Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014.
* A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
* Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
* A commitment to continuous improvement and outstanding care delivery.
* Confidence managing budgets, staffing, and occupancy targets.
* A full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel to other Amica locations.
Desirable:
* Nurse qualification with active NMC registration.
* Experience commissioning a new care home or service.
* Knowledge of frailty management or bariatric nursing.
