Job Overview
HMP Eastwood Park is an uncategorised women’s prison acting as a local/remand and a resettlement jail. The facility receives clients from nine counties, South Wales, and about 74 courts. It caters for women at all stages of the criminal justice process, from remand/newly sentenced individuals requiring stabilisation and detoxification to more settled women planning successful community transfer at sentence end.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the Wellbeing Team (Mental Health and Substance Misuse Psycho Social) by taking personal details from people and uploading them onto the electronic patient record system (System 1/RIO).
* Meet deadlines, collate data, and maintain high‑standard administrative processes.
* Work effectively within a multi‑disciplinary team comprising Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Managers, Nurses, Social Workers, Support Workers, and wider prison community partners such as PPG Healthcare, prison officers, non‑statutory providers, and community agencies.
* Maintain diaries, arrange meetings, take formal minutes, and keep appropriate records on up‑to‑date templates.
