We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Node/Vue/TypeScript) - Remote Europe for one of our clients, working remotely from Europe.
In this role, you will develop and enhance a cutting-edge book editing tool, collaborating with designers and engineers to deliver new features. Your work will directly impact authors by helping them create professional books for print and e-readers. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will own the full feature development process, from design to deployment, ensuring performance, scalability, and security.
Accountabilities:
* Design, build, and deploy new features for a collaborative word processor.
* Extend the platform's capabilities to improve the user experience for authors and freelancers.
* Architect and develop highly scalable web applications using NodeJS, VueJS, and TypeScript.
* Enhance the performance, durability, and security of applications in production.
* Own tasks and deliver features from conception to completion.
* Participate in code reviews and contribute to team practice improvements.
Requirements:
* Experience with NodeJS, VueJS, TypeScript, and NoSQL databases (e.g., Redis, MongoDB).
* Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and responsive design.
* Experience with test-driven development and writing maintainable, high-quality code.
* Fluency in English and effective communication in a remote environment.
* Strong problem-solving skills and passion for excellent user experiences.
* Remote work from anywhere in Europe.
