Business Support Assistant Location: Holles Street, Worskop, S80 2LJ Start Date: ASAP Contract Duration: 4 Month Working Hours: Mon – Fri, 09:00 – 17:00, 37 Hours per week Pay Rate: £13.26 per hour Job Ref: OR16532 Job Responsibilities Support the team at Holles St Short Breaks Service for adults with learning disabilities. Be the first contact for visitors and callers, including parents, carers, health professionals, and Adult Care workers. Handle financial tasks such as budget monitoring, petty cash payments, and recording transactions. Manage stay requests, bookings, and confirmations. Use electronic systems to accurately record bookings and attendance. Process staff payments, travel claims, and absences for payroll. Person Specifications Must Have Ability to form positive relationships and interact well with service users. Excellent customer care and communication skills while maintaining confidentiality. Approachable manner for regular contact with service users. Strong word processing and spreadsheet skills. Capability to provide management information and compile statistics. Initiative to work independently. Awareness and commitment to Equality, Diversity, and Health and Safety. Nice to Have Experience in a similar support role.
