Graduate Structural Engineer
to join their growing team based in
York
.
The Graduate Structural Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
• A degree in Structural or Civil Engineering (MEng/BEng)
• Knowledge of structural analysis and design
• Familiarity with software such as Tekla, Tedds, Robot, or similar (desirable)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Good understanding of engineering principles, building codes, and Eurocodes
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Ability to work well as part of a team and keen to learn from senior engineers
• Ambition to progress towards Chartered status (MIStructE or ICE)
The Graduate Structural Engineer role will involve:
• Supporting senior engineers in the design and delivery of structural engineering projects
• Preparing structural calculations, drawings, and technical reports
• Assisting with the development of structural models and specifications
• Liaising with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders
• Conducting site inspections and surveys where required
• Gaining hands-on project experience while developing towards professional chartership
