Forklift driver

Key Responsibilities
* Operate a forklift safely and efficiently within the glasshouse and yard

* Load and unload nursery plants from delivery and collection lorries

* Move, stack, and re-stack pallets to designated locations

* Ensure pallets and loads are secure and handled with care to avoid plant damage

* Assist with general manual handling and nursery duties when required

* Follow all health and safety procedures and site guidelines

* Conduct daily forklift checks and report any faults or maintenance needs

* Maintain a clean and organized work area


Skills and Experience
* Valid forklift licence (essential)

* Previous experience operating a forklift in a warehouse, nursery, or similar environment

* Good awareness of health and safety practices

* Ability to carry out manual handling tasks

* Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team


Personal Attributes
* Safety-conscious and responsible

* Physically fit and comfortable working in a glasshouse environment
