Tradewind Recruitment are currently working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in Halton to recruit an experienced SEND Administrator to join their team as soon as possible, with the role potentially running until July, with the potential for a permanent post for the right candidate.

The Role - SEND Administrator
As SEND Administrator, you will play a vital role in supporting the school's SEND provision and ensuring statutory processes are completed accurately and on time.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing SEND administration and records
Using SIMS to maintain accurate student data
Updating and managing provision maps
Preparing and submitting SEND referrals
Supporting the administration of EHCPs (Education, Health and Care Plans)
Liaising with internal staff and external agencies
Ensuring compliance with SEND legislation and deadlinesThe Ideal Candidate
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Previous experience as a SEND Administrator (or similar SEND support role)
Strong working knowledge of SIMS
Experience with provision mapping
Proven experience submitting SEND referrals and EHCPs
Excellent organisational and communication skills
A professional, confidential, and child-centred approachExperience working in a secondary school setting is highly desirable.
