What You Will Do
You will provide strategic and operational leadership across the Law provision, ensuring excellence in:
* Quality assurance, validation and academic standards
* Retention, achievement, attendance and progression
* Curriculum review and enhancement
* Apprenticeship and workplace assessment (including EPA preparation)
* Staff performance, development and wellbeing
* External stakeholder engagement and partnership development
You will teach as part of the role, lead internal verification and moderation processes, oversee course-level SAR and QIP activity, and play a proactive role in validation events and examination boards.
This is a highly visible role with influence across the University Centre and the wider Group.
About You
* Has recent experience delivering and leading Law provision in Higher Education or college-based HE or relevant industry practice
* Understands regulatory and quality frameworks and can confidently lead validation and review processes
* Has experience managing staff performance and building high-performing teams
* Has substantial experience of internal verification, moderation, and apprenticeship assessment
* Is comfortable using data to drive improvement in retention and achievement
* Is committed to scholarly activity and professional development
* Holds a L5 Teaching Qualification (e.g. Cert Ed, PGCE) and relevant highest-level vocational qualification or degree/MA in teaching subject.
You will combine academic credibility with practical leadership skills and bring energy, clarity, and integrity to the role.
