Reporting Structure: You will report to the Finance Director, focusing on Peter's Yard financials, processes, reporting, and cross-group projects.


Key Responsibilities:

Peter's Yard Financial Management
1. Manage, control, forecast, and report on the business finances.
2. Own full P&L and Balance Sheet responsibilities, supported by a GL Accountant.
3. Handle month-end close processes, including accruals, prepayments, and reporting.
4. Prepare recurring and ad-hoc reports on commercial, operational, and overall performance.
5. Conduct costing and yield analysis for bakery suppliers.
6. Lead budgeting and forecasting, gathering inputs from stakeholders.
7. Partner with the Managing Director and leadership team, providing insights and analysis.
8. Analyze profitability to identify growth opportunities.
9. Serve as a key contact for Peter's Yard audits.
Group Natural Foods UK Responsibilities:
1. Create tools to convert demand planning data into financial insights.
2. Participate in SAP S/4HANA testing to ensure system fit-for-purpose.
3. Support group projects, such as aligning tools and processes across the business.
4. Assist team members during peak periods or absences.

Ideal Candidate:

* Fully qualified accountant
* Bachelor's degree in an analytical or finance-related field from a reputable university
* Strong Excel skills, with experience in data management, analysis, and forecasting
* Excellent communication skills for engaging with non-financial stakeholders
* Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial data and provide recommendations
* Experience managing month-end closings and reporting
* Proven project management experience from initiation to completion
* Ability to build relationships with multiple stakeholders
* Adaptable, with a willingness to handle various tasks and support the team
* Experience with SAP is preferred
