KO2 is partnering with an innovative engineering business in Daresbury that is looking to appoint a Senior Electronic Engineer to play a pivotal role in the design and development of next-generation electronic products. This is a senior, hands-on position offering both technical leadership and real influence over product direction.
Responsibilities
* Lead the design, development, and validation of analogue and digital electronic circuits and systems
* Produce high-quality schematics, PCB designs, and supporting technical documentation
* Manage product lifecycle activities including prototyping, testing, verification, and certification
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and to specification
* Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers
* Investigate and resolve complex technical issues and drive continuous improvement
* Ensure designs meet EMC, regulatory, quality, and safety standards
Qualifications
* Strong background in analogue and digital circuit design
* Experience using PCB and schematic tools such as Altium, KiCad, OrCAD, and SPICE-based simulation tools
* Solid understanding of embedded systems, microcontrollers, and common communication interfaces
* Good working knowledge of EMC design principles and regulatory compliance
* A proactive, hands-on engineer with strong problem-solving skills
* Confident communicator with the ability to lead and influence technically
