The Role:
* Responsible for the Groups PLC governance framework
* Advising senior executives and Non-Executive Directors on the UK Corporate Governance Code, Listing Rules, DTRs, MAR and the Companies Act
* Ensuring seamless Board and Committee operations
* Working closely with the Group Head of Corporate Governance, leading on AGMs, Annual Reports, shareholder engagement, disclosures, and Board effectiveness reviews, helping to shape the bank’s governance direction at PLC level.
Prior Experience:
* You must be a qualified Chartered Governance Professional (ICSA or CGI)
* Experience working within the secretarial or governance function of a listed or regulated financial services firm, preferably a Bank but anyone within Financial Services will be considered
* Ideally currently operating as a Senior Assistant or Assistant Company Secretary, Deputy Company Secretary or Senior Governance Manager who is ready for the next step
