About you Do you have experience working with vulnerable children ? Want to join a supportive team where you will work with experienced professionals in childrens residential? Then we would love to hear from you. You will work in the childrens residential home with an age range of 8 18 years where you will provide a loving and caring environment to our children. We have a culture which ensures each child is treated with understanding, dignity, kindness and respect. You will be able to form positive relationships with children based on respect and openness, as well as having an awareness of safeguarding from harm and the ability to assess and manage risk. You will either hold or be willing to work towards the Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare. You will work shift patterns, including weekends and sleep-ins, hold a full driving license with business insurance and have access to a vehicle for work purposes. There is a four-week rolling rota; sleeps are 8 across the rota for full-time time and 6 for part-time workers. Shifts are typically 2.30-10.30 pm/7 am-3 pm. Salary is £28,954 inclusive of sleeps. Essential skills: Experience working with vulnerable children in a residential setting Willingness to work towards Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare or equivalent qualification. UK valid Driving license and access to a vehicle insured for business use If successfully appointed references will be taken for all roles where you have worked with vulnerable adults and children; and additionally a full work history needs to be included in your CV with explanations for any gaps.
