We have an excellent opportunity for a Support Worker to join our supported living service located in Worcester (WR2 4DZ).
Position Details
* Role: Support Worker
* Pay Rate: £12.90 per hour
* Shifts: Days
* Hours: 42 hours per week (Full-time)
Duties
* Support people with disabilities, including those with profound and complex needs, using person‑centred approaches to enable positive outcomes as defined in their support plan.
* Carry out basic daily duties: medication administration, cooking, cleaning, and paperwork.
* Provide emotional and practical support.
* Assist individuals in accessing community facilities and participating in community groups.
* Build robust relationships to promote independence and improve quality of life.
* Empower individuals to learn new skills or pursue hobbies and interests.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Previous experience supporting people with mental health conditions, complex care needs, challenging behaviours, autism, and psychosis.
* Driving licence (essential).
* Capability to multitask.
* Strong time management, organisation, attention to detail and flexibility.
* IT literate.
* Positive “can do” attitude.
* Good communication skills.
* Compassionate, caring, positive personality.
* Passion for making a real difference in people’s lives.
* Ability to manage challenging behaviour and conflict.
* Works well as part of a team as well as individually.
