About the Role:

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons to Key Stage 3, 4, and 5 students, inspiring them to pursue their interests in technology and coding, while developing their critical thinking skills. Key Responsibilities:
* Lesson Planning & Delivery: Develop and deliver engaging, creative lessons across Key Stage 3, 4, and 5 in line with the curriculum.
* Curriculum Design: Help shape a challenging and forward-thinking Computer Science curriculum.
* Student Engagement: Motivate students through interactive lessons and extracurricular activities focused on technology.
* Assessment: Track student progress, provide constructive feedback, and work with colleagues to enhance learning outcomes.
* Continuous Development: Stay up to date with the latest trends in technology and Computer Science education to ensure the curriculum is relevant and effective.
The Ideal Candidate:
* Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Computer Science, ICT, or a related field.
* Experience: Experience teaching Computer Science at Key Stage 4 and 5 (NQTs are welcome to apply).
* Knowledge: Strong understanding of Computer Science concepts including programming, algorithms, and databases.
* Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire students.
* Passion: A genuine enthusiasm for technology and teaching students about the digital world.
* Team Player: Collaborative approach to working within the department and across the school.
