Administrator – Health Visiting Team, Sevenoaks

Closing date: 28 May 2026

We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised Administrator to join our professional Health Visiting team in Sevenoaks. You will support the NHS to deliver excellent patient care by supporting frontline NHS teams.

Key responsibilities include:

* Supporting clinical teams with administrative tasks to improve patient experience.
* Ensuring accurate and timely recording of meeting minutes and patient records.
* Maintaining confidentiality of all patient and patient‑related information.
* Working collaboratively with a range of staff and members of the public.
* Driving to various locations as required – holding a full UK driving licence.
* Adhering to NHS policies, procedures and quality standards.


Person Specification


Qualifications

* Level 3 qualification (e.g., 2 A/AS levels, NVQ level 3, BTEC diploma, International Baccalaureate) or equivalent experience.
* NVQ Level 3 Business Administrator, Customer Service Specialist or Team Leader/ Supervisor.


Experience

* Team working experience and versatility to take on varied tasks.
* Experience working with members of the public.
* Supervision of staff.
* Experience handling confidential information.


Knowledge

* Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Understanding of the health and social care sector, NHS structures, policies and processes.


Skills & Abilities

* Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills, both telephone and in person.
* Excellent attention to detail, accuracy and organisational skills.
* Ability to communicate and work with a wide range of people from different backgrounds and seniority levels.
* Ability to record accurate minutes of meetings and present them to a high standard.
* Ability to concentrate and focus on diverse tasks amid frequent interruptions.

* Innovative, objective and tolerant in challenging situations.
* Patience when discussing complex information.
* Willingness to learn.
