We’re looking for an enthusiastic Account Manager to represent our Molecular Biology and Cell Analysis Portfolio to customers across London.
In this role you will:
• Drive Growth: Manage and grow sales within your assigned accounts, uncover new opportunities, and introduce innovative solutions.
• Be a Trusted Advisor: Understand customer needs deeply and provide tailored solutions.
• Lead the Way: Plan and implement lead generation strategies, develop creative approaches to meet targets, and coordinate cross-functional projects.
• Solve & Innovate: Tackle a wide range of problems with strategic thinking and practical solutions.
• Build Lasting Partnerships: Develop long-term relationships with key customers, embodying Agilent’s “Trusted Partner” brand.
Qualifications
We are looking for an individual with the following background:
• University Degree in Biological Sciences (Bachelor’s or Master’s).
• Up-to-date knowledge of genomics, pathology, and cell analysis trends, especially in academia and biopharma.
• Familiarity with molecular and cellular techniques (, NGS, IHC, transcriptomics, metabolomics).
• 4-5 years experience of strategic sales in a business-to-business environment.
On a personal level, you bring strong business development, negotiation, and closing skills.You are highly organized, with exceptional time management and planning capabilities. Your communication skills, written, verbal, and presentation, are outstanding, enabling you to engage confidently with diverse customers. Above all, you have a proactive mindset and a passion for staying ahead of market trends in genomics, pathology, and cell analysis.
