The Technical Software Services team (TSS) is an integral part of Arup’s global Digital Technology Group (DTG) and is responsible for the delivery and support of Information Technology across the firm. TSS specialises in engineering design tools and platforms, predominantly in the Transport, Buildings, Water and Energy sectors. It works closely with global business leaders, skill leaders and service managers to ensure seamless integration and performance of our technical software solutions.
The Opportunity
You will be a Systems Analyst within the TSS team, specialising in BIM delivery, Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS) and Common Data Environment (CDE) Services. You will implement, support and maintain the infrastructure and applications crucial for the lifecycle management of project documents, models and data, with ISO 19650 being integral to project delivery.
Responsibilities
* Maintain and manage our core AEC engineering application portfolios from Autodesk, Bentley, ESRI and Trimble, focusing on integration between disciplines and defined EDMS and CDE solutions.
* Collaborate closely with engineers across the business to define needs and requirements, while working as part of a global team of technology specialists delivering solutions to the business.
* Work closely with vendors and technology providers to implement robust services within Arup that improve project delivery and align with business needs.
Qualifications
* Prior working experience in the Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC) industry
* Good understanding of the design, implementation and operation of EDMS and CDE systems
* Strong communication skills and a flexible, adaptable approach to providing solutions that meet changing business requirements
* Working knowledge of ISO 19650 and other international industry standards
* High level of attention to detail with a strong focus on quality and standards
