Bengeworth Academy is inviting applications for a Classroom Support Professional / Teaching Assistant. The role is based at the school, within a 3-form entry pathway, and involves supporting our Year 5 team to help children achieve their potential through a creative and exciting curriculum. The appointment is term time only plus INSET days.
Role details: 8:45am-3:15pm,
Scale TA2 point 5-6 (£15,827 - £16,077 per annum),

Responsibilities
* Provide general classroom support to assist learning and contribute to a positive learning environment.
* Carry out some 1:1 work with children who have additional needs.
* Support pupils to engage with the curriculum and meet learning goals.
Qualifications and Experience
* A good level of literacy and numeracy skills.
* A clear understanding of the roles and responsibilities to support children's learning.
* Ability to work independently and effectively within a team.
* A drive to enable all children to learn and flourish.
* Experience of working with children with additional needs is desirable but not essential.
* A commitment to the school’s ethos, Christian values and high expectations for all.
