Description
* Develop and execute the IT operations roadmap aligned to business goals
* Lead and mentor IT support, infrastructure, and web development teams
* Deliver strategic projects including upgrades, migrations, and system rollouts
* Coordinate with internal teams and external suppliers to meet scope, time, and budget
* Implement governance, reporting, and project tracking frameworks
* Oversee system performance, cloud platforms, and enterprise applications
* Manage vendor relationships and SLAs
* Lead cybersecurity, compliance, policy reviews, and risk management
* Ensure effective IT support, incident management, and root cause analysis
* Manage IT budgets, procurement, and asset registers
* Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements
Profile
A successful Head of IT Operations should have:
* Demonstrated ability to align IT with wider business strategy
* Experience preparing and managing IT budgets
* Proven leadership of IT teams
* Strong analytical and decision-making skills
* Ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues
* Excellent written and verbal communication
* Highly organised and self-motivated
* Minimum two years in a similar role
* Degree in IT, Communications, or related field
* Experience with Windows 11, Microsoft 365, Azure, Exchange Online
* Strong knowledge of SharePoint, Intune, cloud storage, backup technologies
* Understanding of CRM terminology
* Experience with firewalls, routers, switches
* Web design and graphics skills
* Dynamics 365 Business Central (desirable)
