Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a band 5 staff nurse to join our growing and specialist Gynaecology nursing team. The post holder has responsibility for the provision of competent professional nursing care to meet the individual needs of the designated patient population within the service. The post holder will be accountable for the delivery of care within Women’s services, specifically related to Gynaecology, hysteroscopy, colposcopy and early pregnancy associated outpatient activity, to a specific group of patients. The post holder will take charge of the service area needs on a regular basis, provide leadership to junior staff and support to the senior nursing teams. The post holder will organise own time and that of junior staff, delegate to junior staff and learners, and participate in teaching and education programmes for staff and patients.
