Interim Head of Transactional Finance – South Yorkshire – £65k-£70k package – Hybrid working – 2 year FTC
Elevation Recruitment Group are working on behalf of a client to appoint an Interim Head of Transactional Finance into a senior leadership role within a growing business.
This position will take ownership of the end-to-end transactional finance function, with responsibility for driving performance, strengthening controls and supporting effective cash management.
Key responsibilities of the Head of Transactional Finance:
* Lead, develop and manage the transactional finance team
* Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
* Set and monitor team objectives, KPIs and performance standards
* Ensure robust financial controls and process consistency
* Drive continuous improvement across systems and processes
* Support cash flow and working capital management
* Oversee month‑end activities relating to transactional finance
* Ensure compliance with internal policies, controls and audit requirements
* Manage escalations and resolve complex issues
* Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business
About you:
* Proven experience in a transactional finance leadership role
* Strong understanding of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
* Track record of improving processes and driving efficiencies
* Hands‑on, proactive and solutions‑focused
