Job Description Job Description An opportunity has arisen within Neighbourhoods, Regeneration and Sustainability for a Project Development Officer to join our Project Development team for a period of up to 12 months.
\n NRS brings together a diverse range of Glasgow City Council operational, technical and development services that focus on sustainable transport, place making and delivering essential city services.

\n Position Details
\n Reporting to the Assistant Group Manager, you will be a key member of the Project Development team liaising with funders and discharging a client role during the delivery of regeneration and built infrastructure projects in support of the councils Property and Land Strategy.
\n Duties will include:
\n \n Supporting delivery of the Pollok Stables refurbishment project funded by the UK Government including working with the external design team and contractors during the construction phase;
\n Supporting delivery of the Pollok Park masterplan;
\n Supporting delivery of other initiatives and projects where the Project Development team are playing an active role;
\n Preparation of monitoring reports for live projects for submission to external funders and to internal Council Boards;
\n Working in partnership with the wider Council family to identify and take forward new funding opportunities; and
\n Engaging with external stakeholders and participation in public meetings.
\n \n Further details regarding what this role entails are noted within the Role Profile for the post, whilst the Person Specification document confirms the key competencies you are required to demonstrate in your application.
\n An HNC in a relevant subject such as Project Management, Planning, Building Surveying, Business Planning, Architecture of Urban Design, or similar is an essential requirement of this role.

\n Contract Details
\n Weekly Hours: 35
\n Work Pattern: Monday to Friday
\n Annual Salary: £34,922.237 - £40,664.84 on an incremental scale
