We have an exciting opportunity for a Social Housing Litigation Solicitor to join this national practice in their office in Newcastle. About the Role: Working within the social housing team, this role will be to specialise in delivering high-quality legal services defending housing disrepair claims. Key Responsibilities: Manage a caseload of social housing litigation matters, primarily defending disrepair claims Supervise junior paralegals in pre-action disrepair claims Work closely with local authorities and housing providers Support wider business development initiatives to strengthen client relationships. Key Skills: 1–4 years PQE in litigation (experience in social housing litigation or housing disrepair claims preferred but not essential). Consideration will also be given to candidates with defendant disease, or EL/PL experience looking for a new challenge. Familiarity with the Civil Procedure Rules and volume litigation. Strong case management, advocacy, negotiation, and legal research skills. Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet challenging deadlines.
