Play a key lead role in scaling a high-margin, high-retention consultancy poised for breakout growth

Base Salary + Uncapped Bonus | B2B Services | Health & Safety | Remote (UK-Based)


The Company & Opportunity


Our client is a leading, fast-growing British-founded international health and safety consultancy known for exceptional client retention and personalised service, primed for its next phase of expansion. Until now, the business has relied predominantly on SEO and PPC to fuel growth and is now hiring an experienced growth-savvy manager to unlock new markets, channels, and partnerships.

"Today we are a professional services firm specialising in supporting clients who want to outsource health and safety compliance. We are selling (they are buying) 'peace of mind'.

Our sweet spot for the consulting business is a company with between 50 and 750 employees, large enough to need help but not large enough to justify hiring their own full time health and safety staff. However, there is one exception to this and that is the large international office based clients (from English speaking countries) who struggle to manage health and safety across their international operations. That international client base is the fastest growing part of our business.


The second potential major growth area is with our newly developed AI fueled health and safety online compliance system for low risk office based companies. This online subscription platform has been designed not only for our existing consulting clients but for the tens of thousands of smaller companies (5 to 50 employees) who want to manage health and safety compliance themselves. Built on the bedrock of our consulting business it puts that health and safety 'intelligence' base in the hands of any company seeking an intuitive health and safety compliance system."

This is a unique chance to become the company's first Head of Growth & Business Development; a commercially-minded generalist with a strategic eye and a hands-on approach to generating demand.


You won’t just manage leads. you’ll build the growth engine.

What You’ll Do


* Develop and execute B2B growth strategies that go beyond SEO: outbound campaigns, LinkedIn content, partnerships, events, webinars, and more.
* Manage and build a lead gen team to refine and scale outbound outreach across email, LinkedIn, CRM and other channels, with some overseas resource already in place, you will be key in scaling this.
* Explore new market segments and service adjacencies, identifying untapped niches in B2B health, safety, and compliance consulting.
* Build brand presence through digital touchpoints: LinkedIn, website content, and marketing collaborations.
* Use data to prioritise what works to constantly measure, learn, and optimise campaigns for lead-to-revenue conversion.
* Be the commercial voice in this small, entrepreneurial team, reporting directly to the Director and shaping how the company grows.


Experience Required

* 5–8 years in B2B growth, sales or BD ideally in a compliance or professional services environment.
* Proven track record of generating new business in a small or mid-sized company, ideally in the £1m–£10m revenue range. You know what good growth looks like.
* Experience owning or significantly contributing to multi-channel lead generation strategies (e.g., outbound, partnerships, digital, events)


Skills & Attributes

* You’re a hybrid thinker comfortable getting strategic but also jumping into hands-on execution. This is a small team, and very hands on as a role.
* Digital-first - familiar with modern CRM, outbound/email tools, performance metrics, and AI-enhanced lead gen tools.
* You’re persuasive and credible meaning you know how to communicate value, identify buyer pain points, and open commercial conversations.
* Self-motivated and remote-ready - you’re reliable, autonomous, and results-oriented.
