Job Description
The successful candidate will teach Computer Science at GCSE and A Level, delivering engaging and effective lessons that support students’ academic and personal development.
Responsibilities include:
* Planning, delivering and assessing CS lessons for GCSE and A Level.
* Developing and maintaining a high standard of classroom practice and pupil progress.
* Collaborating with colleagues to enhance curriculum delivery and contribute to school aims.
* Participating in all elements of school life, including pastoral, extracurricular and professional development activities.
* Providing feedback and support to students with SEND when required.
* Engaging with external partnerships and programmes (e.g., CCHS Institute, CCHS Aspire).
Qualifications and experience required:
* Qualified teacher with subject knowledge in Computer Science.
* Experience teaching at secondary school level, ideally GCSE and A Level CS.
* Commitment to delivering high quality education and a genuine interest in inspiring students.
* Knowledge of current industry developments and ability to integrate them into curriculum.
