Job Description
* Managing the timely collection of all outstanding debts.
* Resolving customer billing and financial discrepancies.
* Developing and implementing a consistent and effective credit control system.
* Ensuring the company's credit exposure is managed and controlled effectively.
* Providing timely feedback to management regarding overdue accounts.
* Interacting with customers to ensure all queries and complaints are dealt with efficiently.
* Working with the sales team to implement strategies and processes.
* Ensuring accurate records of all chasing activity.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Credit Controller should have:
* A degree in accounting, finance or similar field.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Proven experience in a credit control role within the Industrial / Manufacturing industry.
* Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
