QOF/Quality Contract Administrator/Admin Assistant

Issa Medical Centre is looking for self motivated, efficientand organised individuals to join our team, do you think that you possess theright skills to join us?

We are a forward thinking and friendly 2 GP partner trainingPractice and are offering an exciting opportunity to work with us in our purpose builtpractice in the heart of Fulwood.

Applications are invited from those wishing to work full time. Experience would be an advantage but, full training will be givenfor the right candidate. We are lookingfor candidates who can provide excellent administration skills, enjoy workingwith the public, good at problem solving and are flexible with the ability toprovide attention to detail.

In return we can offer a position within a very friendlyAdmin Team and excellent working conditions. Salary is dependent on experience.


Main duties of the job

The successful applicant will work within the existing adminteam, based at one of our sites, though on occasion you may be asked to workfrom our other site offering support, advice and guidance to our registeredpopulation of 35,000 patients. This particular job role will involve contacting patients and inviting them for their annual chronic disease reviews and any other reviews deemed necessary under the new guidance of the 2025 GP quality contract. The main focus is patient care and helping todeliver services and support in a professional, smooth and efficient way. Youwill need to demonstrate your ability to work within a team and possess thecorrect attributes that show compassion, empathy, understanding andprofessionalism.

Job responsibilities

JOB TITLE: Administration Assistant

REPORTS TO: Operations Managers

HOURS OF WORK: up to 37 Hours per week

Job responsibilities:

Job Summary:

* Provide general administration tothe practice team and project a positive and friendly image to patientsand other visitors, either in person or via the telephone at all times
* Undertake a variety ofadministrative duties to assist in the smooth running of the practice
* Contacting patients for their annual chronic disease reviews and any other appointments deemed necessary under the new 2025 GP Quality Contract.


Person Specification


Experience

* Experience of working directly with members of the public in a busy office environment
* Experience of working as part of a team
* Experience of an administration role
* Experience of working directly with members of the public in general practice or other NHS environment


Qualifications

* Educated to GCSE as a minimum with grade A-C in English and Maths
* Excellent keyboard and computer skills
* Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to deal with people in person and on the telephone
* Proven organisational ability
* Ability to work with a wide variety of tasks
* Experience of using a GP clinical computerised system
* Experience of using Microsoft word and excel
