Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 08:30 – 17:00
Contract: 19th January – 29th May 2026
Bank Holiday & Weekend Work: Must be available to work Monday 4th May (Bank Holiday) and Saturday 9th May


We are working with the Newark and Nottinghamshire Agricultural Society (NNAS) to recruit a temporary admin professional to support their Events and Development Manager and the wider Events team during a busy period leading up to key flagship events. This is an office-based role in Newark.

You will have proven administrative experience, be highly organised, process-driven, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide day-to-day administrative support across marketing, sponsorship, competitions, trade stands, and operational logistics.
2. Handle calls, queries, and correspondence professionally and efficiently.
3. Process memberships, competitions, and exhibitor information accurately.
4. Prepare and distribute event packs, passes, and information for visitors, exhibitors, and trade stands.
5. Support VIP/President programmes, guest management, and event communications.
6. Assist with marketing projects including community engagement, PR, and social media.
7. Attend meetings, take notes, and follow up on actions.

Requirements:

8. Proven administrative experience with strong organisational skills.
9. Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
10. Competent in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
11. Positive, proactive, and adaptable approach to work.
12. Professional and friendly communication skills.
