About The Role
Step into Leadership with Orbis Education and Care – Become our Home Manager! Location: Bridgend. Salary: £35,000–£40,000 (depending on experience). Hours: 37.5 hours per week. You will lead a brand-new four‑bed residential home for adults with complex needs associated with autism, creating a warm, safe, and empowering environment where they can flourish.
Your Role
As Home Manager you will:
* Shape a new service from the very beginning and launch it successfully.
* Lead and inspire a dedicated team, creating a safe, nurturing and supportive environment grounded in respect, dignity and high‑quality care.
* Coach, motivate and empower team members to provide compassionate, person‑centred care.
* Champion best practice, promote Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) and ensure residents receive the highest standard of care.
What We’re Looking For
* QCF Level 5 in Health and Social Care (or working towards this).
* Leadership experience in a care setting or as a Deputy Manager with ambition to progress into a Home Manager role.
* Solid understanding of adult care regulations and best practice.
* Experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities and/or autism.
* A genuine passion for improving the lives of adults with complex needs.
* A full UK driving licence (essential).
Please note: This role involves regulated activity with adults and requires an enhanced DBS with barred list check.
