Who are we looking for?
We seek a highly skilled SIA Licensed Security Team Leader for our Westhoughton, Bolton site to oversee the performance and upkeep of the security function on a client premises. The role requires managing the team’s day‑to‑day activities, ensuring adherence to duties and maintaining a high level of professionalism and security presence. The position is a 42‑hour week, 4 on/4 off rotation covering day and night shifts.

What you will need
* Excellent communication skills and strong customer focus.
* A valid SIA Front‑Line Licence – essential.
* A full UK driving licence – desirable.
* Confidence in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships at all levels.
* Ability to meet deadlines, multitask and work under pressure.
* Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office (e.g., Excel).
* Vetting to BS7858 standards, SC and Bank of England clearance required; UK residence for 5 years prior to employment.
What you are going to do
* Supervise daily security team operations, ensuring all tasks and policies are followed.
* Monitor surveillance and alarm systems, responding promptly to breaches or incidents and following escalation procedures.
* Lead, manage, and motivate direct reports through goal setting, performance reviews, coaching, and development training, while monitoring attendance and time‑keeping.
* Submit all required reports and performance documentation accurately and on time.
* Oversee all staff and contractor activities, including control of contractors, method statements, and risk assessments.
* Coordinate with law enforcement, emergency services, and stakeholders during emergencies.
* Inspect security equipment regularly and ensure proper upkeep.
* Investigate incidents and accidents, prepare comprehensive reports with recommendations.
* Communicate effectively across departments, integrating security measures into all operational areas.
* Stay current on security trends, technologies, and regulations, recommending system and procedural improvements.
* Perform ad‑hoc duties as required.
