We are seeking an experienced and talented hairstylist to join our dynamic salon team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for delivering exceptional hair services, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and professional growth. We are looking for a hairdresser to join us on a self employed/rent a chair basis full time or part time, hours to suit you, ideal to work around school and children .
This position is for an experienced hairstylist with or without an existing clientele who has the availability to take on extra clients.
Must have/be;
-NVQ 2 required, NVQ 3 preferred
-Minimum 2 years+ salon experience
-Hard working and reliable

Duties
* Providing expert hair cutting, colouring, styling, and finishing services tailored to individual client needs
* Delivering specialised treatments such as eyelash extensions and professional makeup application
* Assisting with front desk duties including appointment scheduling, client consultations, and maintaining the salon's organisational standards .
* Upselling products and additional services to enhance client experience and maximise revenue opportunities
* Managing store operations effectively, including stock control and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment
* Building strong client relationships through personalised service and ongoing communication
* Supporting the team in organising promotional events or special offers to attract new clients
Skills
* Proven experience as a hairstylist with a comprehensive portfolio of work demonstrating versatility and creativity
* Strong store management abilities with organisational skills to oversee daily operations efficiently
* Barbering expertise is advantageous for offering a broader range of services but not essential.
* Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients of diverse backgrounds
* Experience in front desk responsibilities including appointment booking and client record management .
* Outstanding communication skills paired with a friendly, approachable manner that fosters client loyalty
