Pharmacy Dispenser – Farnworth Superstore
Join Tesco as a Pharmacy Dispenser and help customers access the medicines and services they need.
Pay rate starts from £12.87 an hour; £14.08 inside the M25. Minimum guaranteed hours are 16 per week – 12 hours is available for part‑time work.
Responsibilities
* Support the operation of a modern pharmacy and dispense prescription medicines accurately.
* Engage customers in a friendly, confident manner and offer information on common ailments and products.
* Advise customers on the range of pharmacy services and how they can benefit.
* Assess the legal appropriateness of dispensed prescriptions and handle clinical and legal queries.
* Ensure all dispensing routines, standard operating procedures and consulting rooms are clean, tidy and free of clutter.
* Carry out promotional activities and bring company initiatives to life within the team.
* Complete corporate and departmental training and keep up to date with legal and professional developments in pharmacy.
Qualifications
* Qualifications gained from working in a pharmacy environment.
* A desire to train and develop into the pharmacy field.
