Job title: Junior Cost Controller Job description: The Junior Cost Controller is responsible for the management and reporting of all costs and revenues of pr oject he/she has been allocated and could also assist Senior Cost Engineer / Cost Control manager by managing a portion of the scope of the project he/she has been allocated.
Main Tasks - During contract execution
o Main Roles and Responsibilities
o Assist Senior / Cost Engineer for larger projects by performing analysis and compiling information
o Preparation of project back-up for invoicing and administration of the invoicing process
o Assist on internal and external invoice approval
o Follow-up on man-hours and cost monitoring for the updates of changes to the forecast
o Responsible for compiling Vessel DPRs (Daily Progress Report)
o Assist in Monthly Project Cost Report computation
o Follow up reimbursable costs
o Increase other Department awareness of the Cost Control function
o Review of commitments
o Assist procurement on invoices from Subcontractors /Suppliers
o Key tasks: Develop or Assist Senior / C ost Engineer needs to develop and maintain reporting requirements
o Manpower forecasting
o Vessel forecasting
o Change Control (Budget Transfer / VO and changes to Forecast)
o Cost sensitivities analysis
o Other reporting requirements

Qualifications :
Must have:
o Finance /Business Bachelor / Master and/or qualification
o Fresh Graduate up to 3 years of experience of Cost Control dependin g on project size and complexity
Nice to have:
o Experience in the oil and gas industry
o Understanding of Microsoft Excel
o Experience with large companies and an ERP system (GEOS – Oracle)
Experience/Skill/Knowledge
o Finance /Business Bachelor / Master and/or qualification
o Fresh Graduate up to 3 years of experience of Cost Control dependin g on project size and complexity
Technical/General/Competencies
o Microsoft Office, Excel, Oracle
Typical background and experience required :
Must have:
o Finance/Business Bachelor / Master and/or qualification
o Fresh Graduate up to 3 years of experience of Cost Control depending on project size and complexity
Nice to have:
o Experience in the oil and gas industry

o Must work collaboratively with all members of the PMT and other Departments within the Company
o Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently. Someone who is adaptable to change and a fast pace environment.
o Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills required .

o Maintain awareness of, and compliance with the Management System procedures (GOPS) which directly affect the work undertaken
o Ability to analyze project risks and anticipate events
