Consultant Dermatologist
Join Lincolnshire Community and Hospitals NHS Group as a Consultant Dermatologist. This role is pending formal Royal College of Physicians approval. We seek a dynamic, compassionate professional who will deliver high‑quality patient care in a supportive environment that values compassion, innovation, and collaboration.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Provide a comprehensive dermatology service to the hospitals within Lincolnshire, working across sites.
* Coordinate leave with colleagues to provide departmental cover.
* Teach medical students, junior doctors, nursing staff and GPs; participate in the Postgraduate Medical Education programme.
* Maintain continuing responsibility for patients in charge and ensure proper functioning of the Department.
* Attend Dermatology Team meetings and contribute to the management and development of the clinical service, ensuring a high standard of patient care.
* Achieve Royal College of Physicians and British Association of Dermatologists standards in continuing medical education.
* Participate in local mandatory training, annual medical appraisal and revalidation.
* Engage in Team, Department, Trust, District, Regional and National Audit programmes.
* Provide professional supervision and management of nursing and medical staff.
* Be involved in research where appropriate.
* Undertake other duties as identified to meet the needs of the service.
