Position Title: Domestic Gas Engineer
Salary: Around £40,000 per year
Location: Gloucester and surrounding areas
About the Role:
We are currently seeking a skilled Domestic Gas Engineer to join our team in Gloucester and the surrounding areas. In this role, you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining gas appliances in domestic properties, including private homes and MOD sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in domestic gas engineering, a commitment to health and safety, and be fully qualified with the required gas certifications.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Service and maintain gas appliances, including boilers, cookers, and central heating systems, in domestic properties.
2. Work across a range of domestic maintenance tasks, including on MOD sites.
3. Ensure all gas installations and maintenance work is performed to the highest standard and complies with gas safety regulations.
4. Conduct thorough checks and diagnostics to ensure gas appliances are working efficiently and safely.
5. Provide clients with detailed reports on the condition of their gas systems and appliances, advising on any necessary repairs or replacements.
6. Respond to emergency breakdowns, carrying out repairs in a timely and professional manner.
7. Communicate effectively with customers, providing exceptional service and explaining work required in simple terms.
