Job Description
* Responsibilities:
o Requirement specification production / management
o Interface Management
o System Architecture definition
o System Functional and Interface modelling
o Working with mechanical, electrical and process systems
o Operating requirements management database software (DOORS preferential)
o Operating Model Based Systems engineering Software (Capella preferential)
* Background:
o Engineer or Senior Engineer level resource (3 years experience minimum, 5+ more likely to be a good fit)
o Experience in complex regulated industry essential (i.e. Nuclear, Aerospace, etc.)
o Experience in Nuclear industry desirable.
o Foundation background in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is acceptable
My profile
* Degree in engineering or STEM subject is mandatory or be able to demonstrate equivalent experience.
* Systems thinking and systems engineering processes is mandatory.
* Willing to accept a candidate with SE experience and a desire to move into this field if they can demonstrate competence.
* Experience operating Rationale DOORS software as a practitioner is desirable.
* Familiarity with Model Based Systems Engineering is desirable.
* Awareness of relevant BS or INCOSE standards desirable
Sole UK national capable of securing SC
Hybrid working from any UK AEIL office but preferences are Derby, Glasgow, Sunderland or Blackburn
