While a strong understanding of Audio Visual systems is essential, your focus will be on driving project success through planning, communication, and execution. You will work on high-profile initiatives that demand creativity, organization, and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead the end-to-end management of large-scale AV projects, from planning and scheduling to delivery and wrap-up.
2. Develop project timelines, budgets, and resource plans, ensuring alignment with client goals and agency standards.
3. Collaborate with technical teams, vendors, and clients to coordinate AV setups, mainly Video Conferencing.
4. Maintain a working knowledge of AV systems to effectively oversee installations and troubleshoot basic issues alongside technical staff.
5. Act as the central point of contact for stakeholders, providing clear updates and managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
6. Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard of quality.
7. Identify risks and implement solutions to keep projects on track.
Additional Details
Office based in Surrey; salary circa £50k+ plus benefits, depending on experience.
Your Skills And Experience
* Proven experience as a Project/Operations Manager, ideally in Audio Visual, events, or related fields with experience managing large-scale projects.
* Basic technical understanding of Audio Visual systems (predominantly Video Conferencing) to liaise effectively with technical teams.
* Strong organizational and project management skills for handling complex, high-stakes initiatives.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with diverse teams and clients.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
